		사단법인 한국화랑협회(1976년 설립)의 주최로 1979년 시작되어 2009년 27회를 맞는 화랑미술제는 국내최초의 아트페어로 참가화랑이 발굴, 지원하는 작가의 우수한 작품을 전시 및 거래하는 종합미술박람회이다. 지난 2008년의 뜨거웠던 열기를 이어 제27회 화랑미술제-부산이 부산BEXCO 제3전시장에서 3월 19일부터 23일까지 5일간 개최된다. 미술시장의 활성화와 미술의 대중에 이바지함을 목적으로 하는 제27회 화랑미술제-부산에서는 국내 신진작가에서부터 해외 유명 작가의 작품에 이르기 까지 다양한 예술작품을 한자리에서 만날 수 있다. 제27회 화랑미술제-부산을 통해 미술애호가는 그림감상과 더불어 구입 할 수 있는 기회가 되며, 대중들에게는 한국미술시장의 현황을 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있는 대규모 행사가 될 것이다.

		Korea Galleries Art Fair is Korea’s first art fair that was launched in 1979 by the Galleries Association of Korea, which was founded in 1976. The year 2009 marks its 27th anniversary. This leading art fair introduces and showcases a wide range of artworks by emerging artists discovered and supported by participating galleries. Heartened by the excitement and enthusiasm of dealers and collectors in the last year’s showcase, we are now opening the 27th Korea Galleries Art Fair taking place at the Exhibition Hall III of BEXCO for 5 days from March 19 to March 23. 27th Korea Galleries Art Fair aims to further boost the art market and encourage the appreciation of art by creating access to works by a broad array of artists from local emerging artists to internationally renowned ones. The 27th Korea Galleries Art Fair will provide unique opportunities for collectors to enrich their collections, while at the same time help all audiences grasp a better understanding of Korea’s art industry.
